20 mm or 1 inch?
The two common ball standards don't mix: 20 mm parts link to 20 mm arms, 1-inch (B-size) holders to B-size arms. Pick one system and build on it.
Keep it short
Each extra inch of arm adds leverage and vibration; use the shortest arm that gives the reach you need, and bolt bases to solid metal.

It uses the standard 30 × 38 mm 4-hole pattern.
Will the 1 in holder fit a 20 mm arm?
No, it's for B-size (1 in) arms.
